By Bradley Reber, News Director
Hello I'm Bradley from Chilling at the Mic. I feel like it is finally time to go down to a somber note, We are all going to be leaving soon. We have come full circle.
Our Character arcs are complete here in High school, so now we are going to move on to bigger better things. I will be going to Arclabs Welding College, and my colleagues will go on their own journeys where, lets be honest, we may or may not see each other ever again after this. All good things come to an end. It’s sad but it is the way of life. Chilling at the Mic will continue without me as “The Chill Zone” and I will go about my life, I may show up a few times. I never thought it would feel this strange,
In this class, which I look as as a job, taking this into more priority sometimes, to go to our events and do stuff for the station, rather than go out with friends. I love this station, I love these people, I never thought I would say that about a class I am taking. I have loved making this content for you, the listeners. I have enjoyed every second of it. We have made our lives here great. We have made friends, some I would even consider family. Just a simple post like this isnt enough to express how I feel.
Just recently and even as I write this we are all playing and talking about the card game Magic The Gathering. I have friends and I feel like for the first time in my entire life, I finally found somewhere that I actually belong. Next year the current juniors will come and become us, take our place and I can only hope that they feel like I do. I know to all of my friends here on WPPB I am that annoying kid that attempts to make jokes and fails every time but even then, I still love it here. For that I want to thank you, the listeners, for tuning in, thank you for making all of this possible. It’s been a fun ride.
