All week we've been prepping for our next two events. Tomorrow is our first car wash, and Boone has been stressed trying to listen and submit contest work, so Gracie Beddingfield has been running around working on scheduling and planning the car wash. It's at the Ingles in Powdersville from 10-3, and this is the first time we are doing something like this, so let's hope it goes smoothly and there is a great turnout! I'm keeping my fingers crossed hoping it won't be too crazy. Also, along with the washing of cars, we are selling homemade cookies made by our friends in Culinary Arts here at the Anderson career center. So if you happen to come tomorrow, feel free to eat a cookie while you wait for your car. They are extremely delicious!!!
Our next upcoming event is the Annual Partner Dinner on Tuesday, September 20th. This is a huge, fancy dinner we put on for family, friends, potential sponsors, as well as anyone interested in what we do here at the Pulse. There's food, also prepared by Culinary, and some of our very best staff members present the station to the audience. We also have other speakers in the radio world.
So our students are busy with shows, podcasts, events, along with contest entries and regular high school work. It takes a whole lot of effort on our part, but its worth being on the air.
