YouTube has been putting out videos rewinding the year for a couple of years now. This year, however, has to be one of the worst for the platform.
It has over 10 million dislikes, beating Justin Bieber’s Baby in the most dislikes on Youtube. Some have seen this video being a huge brand video just to show the investors the “Good” bits and not the real things that are happening on Youtube like Pewdiepie’s struggle to stay number one. He wasn’t even included. As stated from an article by The Verge, “Since YouTube Rewind was first published on December 6th, the backlash has been loud and constant. Creators who starred in it, like Marques Brownlee, have addressed the controversy, while other YouTubers work on their own versions of Rewind they view as more authentic. The backlash directed at YouTube for this year’s Rewind boils down to a growing disparity between the platform’s true creator culture and the polished version that YouTube wants to present.” Even the creators who worked so hard for YouTube see them as vultures in this situation. Many people see the rewind as YouTube milking out only the prettiest things and stuff that is kid-friendly.
However, Youtube is bigger than that. At least I’d like to think so but that isn’t quite true. Youtube is drifting further and further away from its roots, leaving the best people in the dust. I really dislike the way Youtube has been over the past year and I hope this company treats its creators better in the new year.

Hello Everybody! It's Bradley for WPPB News and I have a special post for today. Something recently caught my eye when I was scrolling through my Facebook Feed. It seems as though a Young Air Force officer made a GOFUNDME page to build the famed Border Wall. In just the 3 days as I write this the page has raised $7,617,676 for this. I found this quite impressive. It's complete goal is One Billion USD. “My name is Brian Kolfage, I have a verified blue check facebook page as a public figure and I’m a Purple Heart Recipient triple amputee veteran.” This is written on the GoFundMe page underneath the makers profile. I find this to be quite a surprise, but a welcome one. People have made themselves useful and believe so much in this philosophy that they are dedicating their own money that could be used in this Holiday Season to build the wall that they hope will decrease illegal immigration. This seems to be a very good use of the site GoFundMe and an even better use of activism via the internet. This page is rapidly gaining funds and will probably raise it's funds completely fairly quickly. If you believe in this cause the link to the page is https://www.gofundme.com/TheTrumpWall.
I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays for this Solstice Season.

The Affordable Care Act could be headed back the Supreme Court for the third time after a federal judge in Texas ruled Friday that the law is unconstitutional.
Judge Reed O’Connor of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas issued the opinion in a lawsuit brought in February by Republican officials in 20 states led by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. Those officials contended that the entire law should be stricken because Congress earlier this year repealed the fines known as “shared responsibility payments” that people without health coverage had to pay under the Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate. O’Connor agreed. If the ruling stands, the Affordable Care Act’s insurance regulations would disappear and, along with them, the health coverage for millions of people who gained private insurance or Medicaid coverage under the 2010 law signed by President Barack Obama. Specifically, the law’s guarantee of coverage for people regardless of their pre-existing conditions, financial assistance for private insurance, rules establishing a basic minimum set of benefits insurance policies must cover and more would vanish.
In short, this ruling would deal severe damage to the American health care system. It also would eradicate one of Obama’s most significant accomplishments. According to an analysis by the Urban Institute, eliminating the Affordable Care Act would increase the national uninsured rate by 50 percent and lead to more than 17 million people losing health coverage.
President Donald Trump celebrated the ruling in a pair of Twitter posts Friday night. “As I predicted all along, Obamacare has been struck down as an UNCONSTITUTIONAL disaster! Now Congress must pass a STRONG law that provides GREAT healthcare and protects pre-existing conditions,” he wrote in one post. In another Trump wrote, “Great news for America!”

Hello everybody I'm Bradley for WPPB News, this week has definitely been an eventful one to remember right before our wonderful Christmas Season. This week we have had the funeral for Former President George HW Bush. As we all know Former president Bush had lost his wife fairly recently and now they are finally together. His son Former President George W Bush delivered his eulogy and cried over the loss that his family and the country suffered from the death of his Father. He will always be remembered and we will honor his memory for years to come. On a more Entertainment note. We got two new movie trailers from Marvel Studios that have taken the world by storm. Captain Marvel and the newly named, Avengers: Endgame. Captain Marvel proves to be an interesting story and Avengers: Endgame is sure to be just as good as its Predecessor Avengers: Infinity War. According to the YouTube comments people are feeling the shock from the end of Infinity War still. Now to the Marketing news, The DOW ( Dow Jones Industrial Average) has dropped drastically in the stock market and some companies are surely shaking and hopefully the damage will be repaired soon. This Has been the News Weekly from WPPB News, Unfortunately due to technical issues it's having to be a bit shorter this time but this problem will be resolved soon hopefully.
